We prefer to keep our ponds as “natural” as possible, but there are certain chemicals that are a MUST and some that are NICE TO HAVE sometimes.   (Like when you have a murky pond and a big family party coming up next weekend!)

AlgaeFix  (algaecide)

Some people consider this pond chemical a MUST HAVE!  
When instructions are followed, this algaecide is fish and plant safe.  (Most algaecides are NOT.)
A little goes a long way -  8 oz treats 2400 gallons!

Vanish   (water conditioner)

This chemical IS a MUST HAVE!
Vanish removes chlorine, chloramine and heavy metals from tap water.
Maui’s water has been treated with chlorine or chloramine and must be conditioned before it is safe for fish.
Vanish is highly concentrated -  8 oz treats 2000 gallons!

Rapi Clear  (clarifier)

This is a NICE TO HAVE chemical, especially when you have guests coming over!
Rapi Clear is a clarifier; it makes the annoying little “floaties” (particles that make your pond appear murky) stick together and get pulled out by your filter or drop to the bottom of your pond.  This action clears your water.
Highly concentrated!  Dose appropriately; more is not better.   -  8 oz treats 4000 gallons!
